Description
The book describes of the indicator system of ecological security as the energy security component part (pollutions of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere and a set of economic indicators). The book describes of many years experience in estimating greenhouse gas emissions and 25 pollutants for the energy sector under the CLRTAR and UNFCCC; cycles for the preparation of national inventories, difficulties, approaches, innovations, additional research works, quality assurance procedures. The dynamics (1990-2019) of emissions of the main pollutants, heavy metals, persistent organic pollutants, greenhouse gases in the country are presented and briefly described, and a comparison is made with some countries based on a number of specific indicators. The experience of restoring gaps in data series using four methods is described, and examples are provided for specific categories.
