Person
Michael was born in Germany during last few months of WW2 of an English mother and a German father. He grew up in England until age 14 when the family moved back to West Germany where he went to school and became fluent in German. At age 21 Michael emigrated to Canada and settled in Vancouver where he was employed by one of the principal Canadian banks. After 28 years with the bank he took early retirement to write and to travel with his wife Elizabeth. Michael has written a number of articles for a travel magazine, self-published an historical novel titled 'THE SINS OF AN ORDIANRY MAN' as well translated and published his father's diary titled 'THE JOURNAL OF A GERMAN OFFICER'.
