Given the author's reputation, it comes as no surprise that A Casebook on Contract is written in an accessible way allowing the reader to quickly understand the important principles of contract law. The cases are seamlessly incorporated into the text without affecting its balance and flow. Other excellent features include the cross-referencing to the relevant sections in the leading contract law textbooks and the innovative summary of the relevant articles at the end of each chapter. Professor Burrows should be commended for these features.

Professor Burrow's A Casebook on Contract provides a stimulating and thought-provoking text. It combines both fantastic academic commentary and superbly selected material. It is simply one of the best contract law casebooks. At only GBP28, it is a highly commended purchase for anyone interested in contract law and is compulsory for anyone studying or practising in this area of law.
