Reviews / Votes
A whimsical tale that creatively introduces three constellations. Dreamlike and quirky. - Kirkus Reviews"This is both an enjoyable introduction to the constellations and an imaginative bedtime story . . . The loosely rhyming text is a pleasure to read aloud. Raschka's dynamic watercolor illustrations swirl and swoop across the page." - Horn Book Magazine
"[This] friendly fantasy brings the night sky beautifully to life." - Booklist
An unexpected collision of the rustic and the interstellar. [A] folktale-flavored turn on the intergalactic. - Publishers Weekly
Arresting watercolor compositions dotted with shining starlight spill across the pages of this original story about a night's misfortune for a star-walking farmer and his donkey that will leave readers to wonder about the legends of the constellations. - School Library Journal (starred review)
