Michael Buffington (Costa Mesa, CA) has been an outspoken ColdFusion advocate since 1995, when ColdFusion was in its infancy. Using ColdFusion, he developed several high profile e-commerce applications. In 1997, Buffington founded Stompzine.com, an underground music review site. In 1998, he founded PricePulse Inc., a product pricing and information search engine, which was powered by ColdFusion. PricePulse changed its name to Price.com a year later, grew 900per cent in size within 2 years, and continues to be serious competitor in the consumer information market.
