Standardizing SSADM

Standards in IT are becoming prevalent, often driven by the multinational supplier, but now increasingly by the customer too, as IS managers recognize their contribution to planning, organization and control. This text describes the role standards can play, distinguishing between different types of standard and their relevance to organizations at different stages of development. In particular, the development of the BS standard for SSADM is described in detail as a large-scale example.
