He has been a freelance writer for over ten years, currently reviews books for The Guardian, and has published over 20 books including anthologies, short stories, radio plays and science fiction novels. He's won the British Science Fiction Prize twice for his short stories. Eric currently lives in Dunbar, East Lothian.
