Description
Why did The Kino Three refuse to take the sword back? Even Logan wasn't sure why he was trying to give back The Crystal Sword, the sword he'd managed to win in a tournament right here only a week ago. He deflected another attack with his sword, the clash of steel reverberating through the cavernous arena. A memory of fighting this man, this sword master, in a muddy pit swept through his mind, causing him to falter. These haunting memories had appeared recently, memories that he couldn't explain, were part of the reason why he was trying to return the sword. The other part was the strange note they'd found under a rock. Logan struck at the man, the strangest part of this battle being the way he seamlessly flowed through fighting moves he never remembered learning.
Logan wakes up in his sleeping bag with a sore head and even more strange memories crowding his mind. He steps from the tent to find he's back at the survival campsite, but they're not in rural New Zealand anymore. The rolling hills replaced by towering snow-covered mountains on every side. The shock wears off quick as their desperate situation sets in. With little food and harsh winter snows setting in, they will have to find help fast or at least a way out of the mountains.
What they find down the valley might be their only hope, but it also stirs memories which can't be true. And if they are true, Logan has failed and has a long road ahead of him to set it right. Because once they are out of the mountains, what will they do next?
A time travel adventure, where every decision is balanced against the chance to find a way home, back to where it all started.
