Community Health Care

This text is one of a series of three open learning modules developed for nurse students working on education programmes leading to first-level registration. The interactive material in this module invites the learner to explore the complexities of nursing in the community, the function of the primary health care team and to develop a profile of the community in which their clients live and work. The book provides an introduction to community health nursing and was developed from the "Nursing Times", National Board approved, Open Learning Programme for Enrolled Nurse Conversion.
