Paul Bright was born in Welwyn, Hertfordshire and studied Engineering and Material Science.
He used to work for a large chemical company, and spent time living in Switzerland, Holland and Spain. Now he lives back in England in Tunbridge Wells and spends a lot more time writing.
Guy Parker-Rees spent a lot of his time at school doodling and painting, then did a degree in English and Philosophy at York University, where he spent a lot of time painting and doodling. He worked as a mural painter, an arts and crafts teacher and as an art therapist, among other things, before finding out that he really wanted to illustrate children's books. He now lives in Brighton with his wife and three children.
