Description
Considered one of the more challenging books of the Bible
for preachers and teachers, the book of Proverbs offers an
optimistic view of life. If readers follow the advice of the
sages preserved in this book, they are promised success
and happiness. Getting at the many and varied nuggets
of wisdom in Proverbs and effectively conveying them to
others may seem daunting, but in Half Full, Wendell Bowes
provides the essential tools for pastors and teachers who
want to share the remarkable and encouraging treasures of
this biblical book with their parishioners and students.
Like its companion volume, Half Empty, on Ecclesiastes, Half
Full includes sermon starters, presentation ideas, sermon
title suggestions, and a substantial reference list.
