Description
Powder metallurgy (PM) includes various thermo-mechanical processes that are used to fabricate metal parts starting from powders. This technique is preferred to more classical routes for either economic or metallurgical reasons. The first part of the book presents the typical PM operations, including powder fabrication, forming processes and sintering, whereas the second part is devoted to describing the most outstanding PM applications based on an economic perspective or due to their novelty.
