Description
This book is meant for the choice of process variables of resistance spot welding that create acceptable welds for galvanized steel sheets in terms of joint strength. Based on experimental results mathematical model was develop to predict the tensile shear and peel strength of weld joints. The developed model was validated with the confirmation test case experiment. Numerical optimization technique was applied to find out the optimal set of input parameters. Salient Features: Resistance spot welding Nugget size Tensile-shear strength Peel strength, Interaction effects Response optimization
