Microvascular Tissue Transfer in the Head and Neck Region

Microsurgical free tissue transplantation has become a standard method in recent years in reconstructive surgery of the head and neck region, and has thus become essential. It contributes decisively toward achieving function-preserving reconstructions, and hence toward improving the quality of life following tumour extirpation.
