KENNETH R BOGLE was educated at Hawick High School and has a doctorate in Scottish History from Edinburgh Univeristy. He has written seven previous books and is Midlothian Council Local History Officer and Archivist. He lives in Edinburgh with his wife and large rugby programme collection. His life ambition is to see Hawick beat Melrose.
