Description
A much-needed, practical guide to improving your money management by taking a spiritual and holistic wellbeing perspective.
All of us have to deal with money and want financial security and wellbeing. But where do we start? Emotionally money can trigger in us a minefield of intense feelings, from suicidal despair to ecstatic reward. Practically, we face never-ending decisions about buying, selling, saving and lending. Politically, economically and ecologically, we can see confusion and harm. Then there is the digital revolution as money transforms from cash in our pockets to digital codes in the cloud. We are also unconsciously influenced by fairytales of infinite wealth, superhuman material success and financial disaster. Would we want the Midas touch and be able to turn everything into gold? Where is the end of rainbow where we will find our treasure?
The problem is rarely money itself, though it may seem that way. The problem is the limited way that we think and feel about it. The purpose of this book is to stimulate a new framework for thinking and feeling about money, that will make us more fulfilled and make the world a better place. With humour, compassion and insight, William Bloom guides us through this maze of complexity to a place of emotional stability and practical clarity, so that we can all better manage our money.
