Marie Tweed has worked for over 20 years in documentation-related roles, primarily for international organizations based in Vienna, including the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), as well as the Economist Group. She studied Modern Languages in the UK before moving to Austria in 1997, and recently graduated from an MSc course in Technical Documentation at the FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences in Graz. The title
of the Master's thesis was: "One for All? Removing Content Usability Barriers in Technical Documentation with Easy-to-Read Standards."
