Process Plant Machinery

This work is a single-source reference for chemical engineers, managers and technical personnel who need to acquire an understanding of the major types of machinery used in modern process plants. Starting with an overview of machinery classes, the author describes which type of machinery (e.g. the many different types of pumps) are effective for which applications and size considerations. Where necessary and appropriate, standard theory is expertly explained in shortcut formulae and graphs. Maintainability and vunerability concerns are dealt with as well.
