Circle Time

Circle Time brings together teacher and children in an enjoyable atmosphere of co-operation. It is a time set aside each week when children and their teacher sit in a circle and take part in games and activities designed to increase self-awareness, awareness of others, self esteem, co-operation, trust and listening skills. This book, written by two experienced circle time trainers, explains the method of Circle Time and how it can be easily introduced into the classroom. It also provides the teacher with a host of ideas and varied activities for building a Circle Time programme that can be developed through from infant to secondary school.
