Eddie Blass completed her Doctorate in Education looking at The Future University and has been involved in a range of futures studies in the field of education since then. She has also been published in Futures Methodology, and offers short courses and consulting in this field. She is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire where she looks after the first phase of the Doctorate in Education as well as contributing to a range of professional postgraduate programmes. Her PGCE is in Secondary Business Education and she has a range of teaching experience in most sectors. Dr Anne Jasman joined the University of Hertfordshire as Reader in Education in 2008 with over 35 years experience in initial and continuing teacher education as researcher, university lecturer and senior policy adviser. She has led and participated in research and development projects on professional expertise, learning, development; partnership and collaborative working. She has contributed to policy development and implementation in the UK and Australia for CPD, leadership and professional teaching standards. She began her career teaching in biology in Leicester, before undertaking a research post at Leicester University. From 1980 she worked at University College, Worcester moving to Australia in 1985. Her first appointment there was at Murdoch University as Lecturer and Coordinator of School Experience and subsequently as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Learning and Educational Development at the University of Melbourne. She was seconded to the Department of Education Science and Training in Australia as Research Fellow for 2001-02 where she was described as having "taken a leading role in research and professional activities related to teacher professional development". She was Associate Professor and Director of Professional Experience, Partnerships and Development at the University of Sydney before returning to the UK to take up her position as Senior Policy Adviser at the General Teaching Council for England.
