Reviews / Votes
'This is a charming rhyming story book about an adventurous kitten and the little boy who looks after her. The expressive illustrations are gorgeously colourful with deep purples, greens and oranges and Cleo herself is as inquisitive as any toddler. Highly recommended' - Practical Parenting, Come Here, Cleo! (1 84148 330 3)More details

Stella Blackstone lives in rural southwest England. She has written many popular books for Barefoot Books such as the Bear series, An Island in the Sun (2002) and How Big is a Pig? (2000) to name a few. Caroline Mockford, former nursery school teacher and mother of two, prides herself in knowing what art appeals to young children. She works primarily in acrylics to achieve the strong, bold colours that are her trademark. She currently illustrates the expanding Cleo the Cat series in addition to What's This? (2000) and The Elephants' Ears (2000).
