Each book in the Adventures in Reading series contain 16 six-page chapters that develop reading comprehension and vocabulary building skills around high-interest reading passages. A Scope & Sequence section at the front of each book outlines the array of the skills covered. A Skills Index at the back of each book shows teachers where each skill is introduced and recycled. Passages in the Beginning level student books run 250-350 words in length and passages in the Intermediate level student book run 400-500 words in length.
