Nuclear Physics, Large and Small

This conference, celebrating the remarkable scientific career of Stuart Pittel, brought together internationally recognized scientists from around the world, as well as a number of graduate students and post-docs, to discuss exciting recent developments in nuclear structure physics from both the experimental and theoretical points of view. Topics include: microscopic theories, pairing models, the structure of loosely bound systems, dynamical symmetries, phase transitions and critical points, collective modes and chaos as well as regularity in nuclear spectra.
