Siddhartha Bhattacharyya [FIET(UK), FIEI, FIETE, LFOSI, SMIEEE, SMACM, SMAAIA, SMIETI, LMCSI, LMISTE] is currently serving as a senior researcher in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of VSB Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. He also serves as the scientific advisor of Algebra University College, Zagreb, Croatia. He has co-edited 106 books, co-authored 06 books, and published over 400 articles in journals, conference proceedings, and books.
Jan Platos (Member, IEEE) received a Ph.D. degree in computer science from the VSB-Technical University of Ostrava in 2006. He was an associate professor of computer science in 2014. Since 2017, he has been the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, VSB Technical University of Ostrava. He is the co-author of more than 180 scientific articles published in proceedings and journals. His research interests include computer science, text processing, data compression, bio-inspired algorithms, information retrieval, data mining, data structures, data prediction, application of different computer science algorithms and methods, and innovative approaches to severe practical problems from any area.
Vaclav Snasel's research and development experience includes over 35 years in the Industry and Academia. He works in a multi-disciplinary environment involving artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, information retrieval, knowledge management, data compression, machine intelligence, neural networks, nature and biologically inspired computing, data mining, and applied to various real-world problems. He teaches as a professor at VSB - Technical University of Ostrava. From 2001 to 2009, he worked as a researcher at The Institute of Computer Science of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Since 2009, he has worked as head of the research program Knowledge Management at IT4Innovation National Supercomputing Center; from 2010 until 2017, he worked as dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and from 2017, he has been rector of VSB-Technical University of Ostrava. He has authored/co-authored several refereed journal/conference papers and book chapters. He has published over 800 papers.
Ivan Zelinka works at the Technical University of Ostrava (VSB-TU), Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His expertise is mainly in AI, unconventional algorithms, cybersecurity, and the fusion of AI and quantum computation. He was responsible supervisor of numerous grants of fundamental research of Czech grant agency GACR and co-supervisor of grant FRVS - Laboratory of Parallel Computing. Currently, he is a professor at the Department of Computer Science, National Supercomputing Center IT4 as a senior researcher in the Quantum Computing Laboratory and also a supervisor of doctoral students, including students from abroad, and a guarantor of the magister study program (Cybersecurity) and doctoral program (Computer sciences). He is the author of journal articles and books in the Czech and English languages.
Anjan Bandyopadhyay is an Assistant Professor at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He has completed his Ph.D. from NIT, Durgapur, West Bengal, India, in Visvesvaraya Ph.D. Fellowship under MHRD. He is broadly interested in Algorithmic Game Theory (Mechanism Design). He has published many Conference and Journal papers in esteemed Conferences and Journals. He has published more than 60 research papers in Scopus and SCI indexing. His research interests include Cloud Computing, Fog Computing, Metaverse, IoT, Healthcare, Crowd Sourcing, and Image Processing.
