Pamela Hussey has been with the Latin America section of the Catholic Institute for International Relations since 1981, and is a member of the Society of the Holy Jesus Child. She was awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours this year for "services to human rights in Latin America". Marigold Best has worked as Latin American Programme Co-ordinator at Quaker Peace and Service and has written many articles for Quaker publications. In 1994, they visited E1 Salvador and produced a book of conversations with women there, Life out of Death: The feminine spirit in E1 Salvador (CIIR, 1996)
