Bruce is a journalist who has waited seven years for his 'big' story, while watching his personal life fall apart. His chance suddenly comes when he spots Emma Fine, a movie star who supposedly disappeared ten years ago, after a murder enquiry in which her lover was found floating face down in her swimming pool.
