Building Relationships as a Helper
Description
Do you want to better understand yourself or someone in your life? Are you having trouble seeing eye to eye with your spouse or a coworker? None of us comes with an instruction manual, but the Enneagram personality system may be as close as we'll get.
Certified Enneagram coach and author Elisabeth Bennett has written nine books to help improve relationships between the nine different Enneagram types. Tailored to each type, each book includes conflict resolution scenarios, real-life examples, journaling prompts, and suggestions for relating to others in a better, more meaningful way.
Enneagram Twos, known as the Helper, have an ability to foresee needs like no one else. They love meeting the needs of others and looking for all the little ways they can be helpful.
"The Enneagram brought clarity to me during a really confusing time," Elisabeth says. "I was able to see my husband's reactions to me not as personal, but ultimately as reactions to what was going on inside himself. I was able to see my own sensitivity as a strength to be stewarded instead of something to be ashamed of. And ultimately I was able to appreciate the fingerprints of our creator God on both of our personalities."
Through this Enneagram book, you will discover how:
- Your personality impacts your relationships
- Your type relates to other types and how they relate to you
- Communication and conflict styles differ depending on Enneagram type
- You can recognize stress behaviors and reach for growth behaviors
- Your needs can be met in a positive way
- You can have a deepened understanding, grace, and curiosity about other types
- Your strengths can be a gift to others
Whatever your Enneagram type, this book will give you insights into any relationship struggles you may have and improve your rapport with friends, family, coworkers, and others in your life.
