Description
Franklin is a popular firefly from Missouri that quickly becomes an outcast when he is moved to Alaska, where there are no fireflies. He allows his circumstances to dictate his actions and emotions. He finds himself with the wrong crowd, doing things he wouldn't think of doing and living in shame and fear of being caught. One night, his world is turned upside down, and he is reminded how important family really is.

When this book was written in 2018, I didn't get the mean- ing behind it, not having the usual salvation story; jump ahead to 2024 and the clarity is glaring. It is about teens whose parents, the Ambassadors, disappear, and it is not the rapture. What do they do now? This story is filled with hope and fear, but mostly truth. I hope you find hope in these darkening times.
