With the advancement of numerical simulations beyond uniform grids, visualization methods are also challengend to cope with more complex data structures. In these proseedings we discuss which data challenges are out there, what visualization methods already exist, and what the highest demands and needs for yet unsolved issues are. Focus of this workshop is on topological issues of complex data sets, leading to possible overlap among feature axtraction, numerical algorithums and access methods to topologically non-trivial data itself.
