Yearbook of Medical Informatics

The 1998 Yearbook of Medical Informatics bears the timely Title: Health Informatics and the Internet. The editors of the Yearbook realized that the use of Internet and Intranet in health care is increasing exponentially, not only for browsing web sites of companies, but also for the electronic interchange of patient-related data and medical knowledge.
