Cianantonio Battistella is a lecturer in the history and technique of photography at Udine University. He has taken part in many contemporary photographic exhibitions both in Italy and abroad, where he is mainly noted for his experimentation with the photographic language. He has illustrated many books, particularly on landscape, including Cannaregio (1987), Citta murate del Veneto (1988), Documen-ti di architettura rurale delta Marca Trevigiana (1989), Obiettivi sulla via del sale (2000), Cesti da Museo (2002). Guido Beltramini, director of the Centre Internazionale di Studi di Architettura, curated the exhibitions Carlo Scarpa. Mostre e Musel (1944-1976) (Verona, Museo di Castelvecchio) and Carlo Scarpa. Case e paesaggi (1972-1978) (Vicenza, Palazzo Barbaran da Porto) in 2000 with Paola Marini and Kurt Forster. In 2004, with Italo Zannler, he curated the exhibition Carlo Scarpa nella fotografia (Vicenza, Palazzo Barbaran da Porto). Vaclav Sedy, from Prague, has for many years worked as an architecture photographer for Domus, Casabella, Abitare, the Fondazione Michelucci and La Triennale di Milano. He also produced the virtual exhibition on Christopher Dresser for the latter. His most important publications are Benedetto Alfieri ad Asti (1992), Casa di cristalio (1997), Amaldo Pomodoro (1998), Vincenzo Scamozzi 1548-1616 (2003), Fuori Serie (2003) and Come comete (2004). Italo Zannier is a leading international photography expert and holds the chair of the history of photography at Venice University. Zannier had a long association with Carlo Scarpa. He documented some of his buildings during the years he worked as a professional photographer and became his colleague at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia.
