History Projects

This book offers a wide collection of ideas for history projects, using a cross-curricular framework. It approaches history not only through study unit topics but also through non-history themes such as ourselves, communication, light and colour and time. The book enables children to use and improve history skills such as looking at evidence and examining artefacts and other primary sources, as well as enabling them to empathize with past times through role play and drama and model-making activities. A chapter on the planning and organizing of themes is included.
