Exploring Rural Austria

This guide is part of a series designed for the independent traveller and it divides each country into regions for which several exploratory routes are described. Most of the routes wander away from the obvious tourist centres but always take in sights, towns, villages and countryside of interest with the emphasis on the unusual and unexpected. Names of reasonably priced hotels and restaurants along the way are mentioned, while each region is introduced with a summary of its character and history. Each guide provides essential information on roads and maps, driving and parking, finding accommodation and eating out.
