The Library Association Year Book 1996

This is an up-to-date directory containing information about the Library Association, its branches and groups and its members. Part one lists information about branches, groups and national committees: current committee members with details of where they may be contacted, a list of current publications together with ordering information. Also included are, details of standing committees of Council; Library Association officers, departments and staff; subscription rates and a section listing the winners, past and present, of Library Association medals, grants and awards and Library Association staff. Part two contains information about the Library Association's Royal Charter, code of professional conduct, bye-laws, regulations for elections and for associateships, rules of procedure, and other matters of policy and practice. Part three gives full lists of members, personal and institutional, both in the United Kingdom and overseas giving details of members' qualifications and current employment.
