Illustrator JoAnn Sims is an educator and peace activist. She enjoys traveling the world. She assisted the country of South Africa in developing a national curriculum that embodies participatory democracy. JoAnn is a prolific landscape artist. This is her first opportunity to illustrate a children's book.
