Nicholas Beare has been involved in English Language Teaching for more than twenty-five years. Originally on the staff of the Instituto Anglo Mexicano de Cultura in Mexico City, he has been involved in all aspects of teaching English at all levels, with a particular interest in teacher training. More recently Nick has been working as an academic consultant for Macmillan ELT in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. Currently he is involved with materials production and teacher training in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. His publications with Macmillan ELT include Antics, Jump!, Winners, Sunrise and Evolution for primary schools; Links,Get Set! and United for secondary schools and Profiles for older teenagers.
Mary Bowen taught English as a foreign language in England, France, Spain and the former Yugoslavia. She specialises in producing coursebook and audio materials for younger learners. Her publications include Way Ahead, English World and Macmillan English.
Liz Hocking taught English at secondary level in the UK and has many years experience as an editor of ELT course books and other teaching materials for primary and secondary school students. She has written material for the best-selling Macmillan primary course, Way Ahead. She was one of the authors of the ground-breaking primary course, Macmillan English, and is one of the author team of the 10-level course, English World.
