The "Surf To Success" series of five paperback books is part of the "Atmospherix" range. The range has been specifically developed to provide reading material with high interest themes and low reading age content to meet the needs of teenage and adult reluctant readers. The "Atmospherix" range is divided into four reading age levels. Troposphere - RA 6-71/2; Stratosphere - 71/2-9; Thermosphere - RA 9-101/2; and Exosphere - RA 101/2-12. In each "Atmospherix" series there are five paperbacks. Each book is broken up into chapters and is a manageable reading load for reluctant readers. The storyline flows from one book to the next, hooking students in and keeping them wanting to continue reading. When all five books have been read the students have read a whole story and a reasonable amount of text painlessly.Each series has an accompanying Teacher Book which includes guidelines and suggestions for teachers and comprehension, written language and structural activities for each book for students. "The Surf To Success" series is written at the Exosphere level.
The series follows the story of Hayden and Kaylee as they use their love of surfing to form a business selling surfboards and a surf clothing label.
