Amanda Beales's life has always contained roses. She first fell for their charms as a child, while growing up on her father's, now the family-run, nursery. After spending a few years away to train in other fields of horticulture and to study at Burlingham Horticultural College in Norfolk, she returned to the nursery and has been a part of it ever since. She now concentrates on breeding new varieties while also overseeing the marketing and PR areas of the business. This is her fourth book on the subject of roses.
