Tanya Robyn Batt, currently living in New Zealand, is one of the world's few professional faeries. Using her vast costume wardrobe, Faery Tanya travels all over the world performing at festivals, schools, and libraries. Tanya has also written and compiled A Child's Book of Faeries (2002) selected as The Sunday Times Book of the Month in September 2002 and The Fabrics of Fairytale (2000) Nicoletta Ceccoli was born and still lives in The Republic of San Marino with her two pet turtle doves. Featured several times at the Bologna Children's Book Festival, she won the prestigious Andersen prize for the best Italian children's book illustrator in 2000. She has also illustrated the popular Barefoot title An Island in the Sun (2002).
