Description
Since displays based on polymeric materials play a dominant role at the man-machine interface, the international symposium on "Polymers in Display Applications" was held as a part of the 218th American Chemical Society (ACS) National Meeting in August 1999 in New Orleans. This symposium focused on current developments in the synthesis, processing and application of polymeric materials used in liquid crystal displays (LCD) and light-emitting diodes (LED).
