Robin Barton is a London-based journalist and editor specialising in travel, adventure sports, food and environmental issues. He is a contributor to the Independent on Sunday and has also written for the Observer, the Evening Standard, the Daily Telegraph, Wunderlust, and Intersection magazine. He is the author of guidebooks about London, Dubai, Mexico and Mallorca. He currently heads up Lonely Planet's trade and reference team in London, developing and publishing beautiful books in a range of categories, including travel, wellness, food and drink, and adventure. His interests range from mountain biking, climbing and kayaking to finding the perfect restaurant.
