Daily Devotional Events Calendar

A variety of events, observances, and holidays are celebrated every year. A lesson from the Holy Bible is provided for each day to include a history of the observance, discussion, relevant passages from the Old and New Testaments, and a daily prayer. Included are Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish holy days, liturgical ceremonies and religious rites; international and national celebrations and holidays; secular observances and traditional seasonal events. Observances can be related to the Bible and the Bible can be related to each day. The purpose is to encourage the reader to meditate on the Word of God every day, as well as educate the reader about the significance of the observances and events to the current state of the nation and the world. This book can be useful to anyone who wants to delve more deeply into God's Word, the Holy Bible, or to instruct others; thus, the book is relevant for individuals, families, groups, teachers, and churches. The calendar is based on the year 2024 but can be used for subsequent years since all observances occur annually (dates may vary slightly from year to year). An index is provided for rapid reference to topics, events, and holidays.
