Description
The Churchill makes for a fascinating modelling subject, with numerous marks and variants, including brideglayers, flame-throwers (such as the Crocodile) and customised assault vehicles (such as the spigot-mortar armed ARVE). There is also a wide range of kits and after-market accessories available from mainstream manufacturers: in fact, 2004 will see the release of no fewer than 12 full 1/35-scale Churchill kits, a sure sign of its popularity and attraction as an Allied armour modelling subject. This book provides a comprehensive guide to modelling the Churchill infantry tank across a range of skill levels. Packed with tips and techniques, it also covers the addition of figures and vignette settings, and some challenging builds of detailed Churchill variants.
