The Last Turtle Party

"The Last Turtle Party" is a tale for children about Mau who travels in a canoe with his father to the neighboring island to participate in the annual turtle party. Mau is nine years old and lives on the outer islands in State of Yap in Micronesia. He belongs to an island people, which lives on some of the smallest and most isolated islands in the Pacific. The book is an updated color photo edition of the original Danish version of the book published in 1994 by Borgen Publishing, Copenhagen/Denmark supported by the Danish Beckett-Fund.
