Impact of Teacher Competence and Teaching Effectiveness on Student

This study was an attempt based on scientific investigation, to find out the fact that teachers' qualities are necessary for the enhancement of students' achievement in Life Science subject. It has made certain contributions to this important fact that competent teachers with teaching effectiveness are necessary for enhancing the students' achievement. It also focuses on the issue to have various modes of assessment, which play the role of moderating variables, and thus throw light in this area for further research. It is the investigators hope that this study would be reflected to educators, teachers, parents and the students. It is hoped that the researchers in future shall be encouraged to undertake further follow up work in these areas to improve the student achievement.
