Tanya Saroj Bakhru holds a PhD in Women's Studies from University College Dublin, Ireland. She is currently an Associate Professor of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies in the Department of Sociology and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at San Jose State University. Her research areas include feminist critiques of globalization, reproductive justice, and transnational feminism.
