Candice threw herself into her work to distract herself from her ex when an experimental machine transported her to a strange world. She needs to find a way to survive in a world of swords and magic where nature itself and its inhabitants try to kill her with every step she takes. A fateful encounter seems to end her desperate struggle, but she can't trust someone quickly after being betrayed more than once.
