Description
Buttered Paws is the third in the `cat's-eye view' series from Blue the cat. Written to delight children but yet another book packed with lots of witty, tongue-in-cheek humour for the adults too.
Life in Blue's house is never dull, he's even joined a yoga club for cats! No more cuddles until he solves the mystery of who brought fleas into the house. Find out why Mum took the batteries out of the smoke alarm and what happened when Dad fell off the shed roof. Will baby Ruby ever share her cheesy puffs with him? And Prickles returns with some startling news. It's all here and more.
Be warned, after reading this you could end up giving a cat a forever home - you won't be the first!

Person
Valerie Baker lives in the south west of England with her husband and sometimes her two stepchildren - and of course the loveable star of this book, her cat Blue. Words have always been a part of her life, from her days of typing on clunky manual typewriters right through to writing about modern-day apps for a job. When she retired, she realised that the quiet life didn't suit her and instead occupied herself by writing stories about her mischievous cat. She loves watching motorbike racing and going to rock concerts.
