Description
Have you ever wondered what your pet is thinking?
Blue is full of energy, mischief ... and questions like: Why do humans froth in the shower? Why do we need to keep feeding the wheelie bin? And will they notice if I steal that bit of toast?
And then there's the very important cat duties to keep him busy, such as protecting the summerhouse roof from invaders, getting enough catnaps and investigating next door's tortoise.
Behind the Ear is the sequel to Under the Chin, another charming `cat's-eye view' from Blue the cat, which will delight children and adults alike. Although written for children, this book is packed with tongue-in-cheek humour for adults too.

Person
Valerie Baker lives in the south west of England with her husband and sometimes her two stepchildren - and of course the loveable star of this book, her cat Blue. Words have always been a part of her life, from her days of typing on clunky manual typewriters right through to writing about modern-day apps for a job. When she retired, she realised that the quiet life didn't suit her and instead occupied herself by writing stories about her mischievous cat. She loves watching motorbike racing and going to rock concerts.
