Description
Succeed under pressure is based on Gary Bailey's highly successful business talks, which are largely inspired by Sir Alex Ferguson's leadership abilities as manager of Manchester United. Bailey is that rare breed - a former footballer with an MBA from Henley in Oxford - and as such has a unique view on one of the most pressurised businesses in the world: top-flight English football. Although most businesspeople are under huge pressure these days, not much time is spent helping them to deal with, or even thrive on, pressure - which is what Gary had to do as a goalkeeper, the toughest position on the pitch, for the biggest club in the world ...and what Sir Alex has been doing for the last 26 hugely successful years at Old Trafford. In this book, Gary shares the business lessons he's learnt on dealing with pressure and aspects of leadership in an easily accessible, humorous and informative manner. A must-read for anyone in business, at any level, in any industry.
